Second Unofficial Spokesperson from the Heart Attack Grill Dies
Event Summary: It is a sad day for the Heart Attack Grill. Their unofficial spokesperson and probably biggest fan John Alleman died, ironically, of a heart attack on Monday, February 11. According to the customers, Alleman was constantly promoting the restaurant. While he was never paid or associated with the payroll of The Heart Attack Grill, diners would watch him enthusiastically wait outside the restaurant, coaxing tourists and residents to stop on by. When he got tired, he could be found inside the diner eating one of the infamous burgers. Critics pose a different view of Alleman's death. He is the second unofficial spokesperson to die. Blair River, the 575 lb. "Gentle Giant" died back in March of 2011 of flu-related symptoms. He was only 29.
Event Significance: I think that the Heart Attack Grill should view their spokesperson's death as a wake-up call. After many customers had experienced "symptoms" of heart attacks WHILE eating the burgers, health reforms must be made. It has an impact on the world because of the amount of tourists who come to visit Las Vegas. Trying to imitate the over-the-top American lifestyle, they come from all over the globe to see Las Vegas and maybe get a bite to eat at the Heart Attack Grill. If they don't know the background story behind the restaurant and have dangerous medical conditions, consequences could occur.
Personal Response: I think that the Heart Attack Grill should issue some health reforms. Maybe they should stop dipping their tomatoes and lettuce in grease, or maybe lower the calorie count of their infamous "Quadruple Bypass Burger" of 9,982 calories. I don't know, but the amount of fat in that burger, which wasn't listed in the article, may just be a little high, but just a little. Obviously when their spokesperson dies of a heart attack, it should send a message to the owners.
