When I heard of the theme being "blue", I decided that i didn't want to just photograph the obvious. So I tried to think creatively. I came up with the idea of recycling. Recycling is associated with the color "blue" and also corresponds to the environment. I took a bicture of our recycling bin, which just so happened to be blue, and thought that it was a decent picture. I tried to use the rule of thirds, but I don't know if this picture applies to that. I took the picture inside my garage with the lights on to provide extra lighting. I also took it with my camera which is just an upgraded point-and-shoot camera, but I had it on the automatic settings.
